Anointing of the Sick

Formerly known as “Last Rites” or “Extreme Unction” and performed immediately prior to death, this sacrament of healing is appropriate not only for those at the point of death, but also for those who are seriously or chronically ill. If possible, please do not wait until a loved one is incapacitated or in the hospital, but contact us as soon as possible to schedule an anointing.

Any member of the faithful can receive this sacrament as soon as he or she begins to be in danger of death because of sickness or old age. Those who receive this sacrament can receive it several times if their illness becomes worse or another serious sickness afflicts them.
